William A. Cravens Enlisted in the Company and mustered into Confederate States Service on October 2, 1861 at Camp Reeves, Texas. He was present until early 1863. He died at Chattanooga Hospital on February 1, 1863.

David Cryer Enrolled into the Texas State unit on June 12, 1861 in McKinney, Collin County Texas by Captain J. M. Bounds. His age was 21 years. He was reported AWOL on August 27, 1861.

Hezakiah Culwell Born in Washington County, Arkansas in 1839. Moved to Collin County, Rebublic of Texas three years later (Avery & Culwell, 1995), becoming a Farmer when old enough to work.

Hezakiah was formerly a private in Captain W. A. Brown’s Company of Cavalry of Weston, Collin County, Texas. This was part of the 15th Brigade of Texas Militia in 1861.

Confederate Records show he enlisted on January 22, 1862 at Weston, Collin County, Texas by Captain J. M. Bounds. Private Culwell left a pregnant wife and two children in Texas. During the siege of Corinth, Culwell was either wounded or became ill. He was evacuated by train to Canton, Mississippi and was hospitalized. He died at Canton on May 21, 1862, telling his friends that he was going to Heaven. Culwell was buried in the Canton city cemetery. His third child, as son, was born after his death and never knew where his father died or where he was buried. The grandson of the third child found private Culwell's grave in 1994 (Culwell, 1994).

Anthony J. Davault Was born February 23, 1840 in Missouri. He came to Texas in 1859 and was a Farmer in Grayson County (Smith, 1999).

Enlisted in the Company and mustered into Confederate States Service on October 2, 1861 at Camp Reeves, Texas. He was present for duty until listed as absent, sick since December 22nd, on the December 31, 1863 Muster Roll. He was again present for final Confederate Muster Roll of 1864. Davault was captured by enemy near Nashville on September 4, 1864.

The Federal troops sent him to Camp Chase, Ohio. He was paroled May 2, 1865 and sent to New Orleans for Exchange. No further records military records found.

It is believed that Anthony married Lumila Hammer in 1870. They had children. He entered the Texas Confederate Home as a Widower in 1916. He died on July 17, 1921 in Nocona, Texas and is buried in the Eagle Point Cemetery, north of Nocona. The last name on his tombstone reads: Davoult (Smith, 1999).

Ed Davis Enlisted in the Company and mustered into Confederate States Service on October 2, 1861 at Camp Reeves, Texas. Present for the 1861 Confederate Muster Roll. Listed as "Discharged" on the 1862 Muster Roll.

N. W. Davis Enrolled into the Texas State unit on June 12, 1861 in McKinney, Collin County Texas by Captain J. M. Bounds. His age was 20 years. Soon after this, he was appointed Ensign. However, he was discharged at Fort Arbuckle, I.T. on July 1, 1861.

William Davis There was a W. Davis who was formerly a member of Captain W. A. Brown’s Company of Cavalry at Weston, Collin County, Texas. That unit was also part of the 15th Brigade of Texas Militia in 1861.

This William Davis enlisted in the Company and mustered into Confederate States Service with this company on October 2, 1861 at Camp Reeves, Texas. Present for the 1861 Confederate Muster Roll. Discharged March 20, 1862.

H. F. Dawson Enrolled into the Texas State unit on June 12, 1861 in McKinney, Collin County Texas by Captain J. M. Bounds. His age was 19 years. He was reported to have gone “into CSA”, but there are no records for him with this Company..

Dawson mustered into Confederate States Service with this company on October 2, 1861 at Camp Reeves, Texas. Present for the 1861 Confederate Muster Roll. No further records.

J. D. Dawson There was a J. Dawson who was formerly a member of Captain W. A. Brown’s Company of Cavalry at Weston, Collin County, Texas. That unit was also part of the 15th Brigade of Texas Militia in 1861.

This J. D. Dawson enlisted in Confederate service on January 22, 1862 at Weston, Collin County, Texas by Captain J. M. Bounds. Absent, sick at Tullahoma, Tennessee from December 8, 1862. The 1862 Muster Roll shows a stoppage of $12 in pay due to Court Marshal. Listed as deserted on January 14, 1863.

C. R. Day Enrolled into the Texas State unit on June 12, 1861 in McKinney, Collin County Texas by Captain J. M. Bounds. His age was 22 years. He is reported to have died on August 10, 1861 at Fort Arbuckle, I.T.

W. P. DeBolt Enrolled into the Texas State unit on June 12, 1861 in McKinney, Collin County Texas by Captain J. M. Bounds. His age was 24 years. No further records.

Thomas J. Dickerson Enlisted in the Company and mustered into Confederate States Service on October 2, 1861 at Camp Reeves, Texas. He was wounded in the battle of Murfreesboro. Listed as deserted December 1, 1863.

Captured by Federals on December 18, 1863 near Knoxville, Tennessee. Sent to Rock Island Barracks in Illinois in January 1864. Died there of "Thesis Pulmonos" on October 7, 1864. Buried in Grave No. 1549.

John N. Dickson Was formerly a 2nd Lieutenant in Captain W. A. Brown’s Company of Cavalry in the 15th Brigade Texas Militia. That unit was from Weston, Collin County, Texas.

Enlisted in the Confederate States Army on January 22, 1862 at Weston, Collin County, Texas by Captain J. M. Bounds. He was 22 years old at the time of his enlistment. Shown as "Discharged" on the 1862 Muster Roll.

B. R. Dobson Enrolled into the Texas State unit on June 12, 1861 in McKinney, Collin County Texas by Captain J. M. Bounds. His age was 23 years. He was reported AWOL on August 27, 1861.

William Donaldson Enrolled into the Texas State unit on June 12, 1861 in McKinney, Collin County Texas by Captain J. M. Bounds. His age was 18 years. He was reported AWOL on August 27, 1861.

J. A. Drennen Enlisted in the Company and mustered into Confederate States Service on October 2, 1861 at Camp Reeves, Texas. Discharged on November 6, 1862 by Captain J. E. S. Russell. Certificate of Disability states that he was born in Leon County, Texas, was 18 years old and was a Farmer prior to enlistment. The Surgeon, John W. Rainey, found him unfit for duty due to Chronic Diarrhea and Ulceration of the Bowels.

John Dulany Only record on file is one of his surrender with Company "G", commanded by A. C. Bailey, at Citronelle, Alabama on May 4, 1865. Paroled at Columbus, Mississippi later in May. Residence given as Collin County, Texas.

C. Elledge Only record on file is one of his surrender with Company "G", commanded by A. C. Bailey, at Citronelle, Alabama on May 4, 1865. Paroled at Columbus, Mississippi later in May. Residence given as Collin County, Texas.

Elijah G. Evans Enlisted in the Company and mustered into Confederate States Service on October 2, 1861 at Camp Reeves, Texas. Present until absent, sick, from December 22, 1863 on last 1863 Muster Roll. The final Confederate Muster Roll shows him Captured on January 25, 1864 near Sevierville, Tennessee.

Union prison records state that he was captured on January 27th and 29th 1864 near Sevierville. Sent to Rock Island Barracks via Nashville and Louisville and received there on February 18, 1864. Took oath at Rock Island Barracks on June 17, 1865, giving residence as McKinney, Collin County, Texas and age 25. Files contain two signed oaths, dated June 17th and 18th of 1865. Evans was released on June 18, 1865.

William Fergerson Enrolled into the Texas State unit on June 12, 1861 in McKinney, Collin County Texas by Captain J. M. Bounds. His age was 17 years. He was reported AWOL on August 27, 1861.

William H. Foren Enrolled into the Texas State unit on June 12, 1861 in McKinney, Collin County Texas by Captain J. M. Bounds. His name appears as W. H. Forain and age was 22 years on the State record. It is assumed here that this is the same man as is found in the Confederate records as William Foren or Forn.

He mustered into Confederate States Service with this unit on October 2, 1861 at Camp Reeves, Texas. Present with Command until listed as absent on detached duty from October 1, 1863, on last two muster rolls.

Federal records show him captured on November 4th and 9th of 1863 in Franklin County, Tennessee. He was sent to Military Prison, Louisville, for exchange and transferred to Camp Morton, Indianapolis, Indiana where he was received in November 25, 1863. Private William Foren was transferred to Fort Delaware on March 19, 1864 and received there on March 22, 1864. He was exchanged on September 30, 1864 at Aiken's Landing, Virginia.

He received Confederate clothing on October 9, 1864. He was present for a muster roll of a detachment of paroled and exchanged prisoners at Camp Lee, near Richmond, Virginia, dated October 10, 1864. No further military records. Files contain correspondence regarding his military record from the AGO, dated May 20, 1912.

P. B. Franklin Enrolled into the Texas State unit on June 12, 1861 in McKinney, Collin County Texas by Captain J. M. Bounds. His age was 19 years.

Franklin mustered into Confederate States Service with this unit on October 2, 1861 at Camp Reeves, Texas. Discharged from service at General Hospital in Cleveland, Tennessee on February 15, 1863 with Chronic Conjunctivitis.

Randolph French There was a W. R. French who was formerly a member of Captain W. A. Brown’s Company of Cavalry at Weston, Collin County, Texas. That unit was also part of the 15th Brigade of Texas Militia in 1861.

Randolph French enlisted in the 11th Texas Cavalry on January 22, 1862 at Weston, Collin County, Texas by Captain J. M. Bounds. Discharged for disability from Camp Priceville, Mississippi on June 23, 1862. Discharge Certificate indicated private French was born in Owen County, Indiana, 20 years old and a Farmer prior to hostilities. Assistant Surgeon D. B. Burks found him incapable of performing his duties due to "Phthisis Pulmonalis".

I. N. Fulton Enrolled into the Texas State unit on June 12, 1861 in McKinney, Collin County Texas by Captain J. M. Bounds. His age was 22 years. He was reported AWOL on August 27, 1861.

Jacob Fulton Enrolled into the Texas State unit on June 12, 1861 in McKinney, Collin County Texas by Captain J. M. Bounds. His age was 21 years. He was discharged on July 12, 1861 from Fort Arbuckle, I.T.

Thomas J. Fulton There was a T. Fulton who was formerly a member of Captain W. A. Brown’s Company of Cavalry at Weston, Collin County, Texas. That unit was also part of the 15th Brigade of Texas Militia in 1861.

Thomas J. Fulton enlisted in the Company and mustered into Confederate States Service on October 2, 1861 at Camp Reeves, Texas. Listed as sick from May 13, 1862 at Canton, Mississippi on the 1862 Muster Roll. Appears on Hospital muster rolls for the Texas General Hospital at Quitman, Mississippi, dated December 23, 1862 and February 7, 1863. Remarks on the last Hospital muster roll state that he transferred to Regiment. The Hospital muster rolls show that he enlisted June 12, 1861. This date would be indicative of Fulton's enlistment into the Texas State Troops. Private Fulton was present with the Regiment for the April 30, 1863 Muster Roll. He was absent, listed as on detached service from October 15, 1863 for the last two muster rolls.

He was captured by Union soldiers on August 30, 1864 near Rome, Georgia and sent to Nashville. The Regiment was on a Raid to East Tennessee at the time. He was sent to Military Prison, Louisville in late October of 1864. Soon after that, Fulton was transferred to Camp Douglas, Illinois. He enlisted in the 5th or 6th U.S. Volunteer Infantry (Galvanized Yankees) on April 6, 1865.

David Gardner Enrolled into the Texas State unit on June 12, 1861 in McKinney, Collin County Texas by Captain J. M. Bounds. His age was 19 years. He was discharged on July 9, 1861 at Fort Washita, I.T.

William J. Gibbs Enlisted in Confederate service on January 22, 1862 at Weston, Collin County, Texas by Captain J. M. Bounds. Died at Canton, Mississippi on May 17, 1862.

R. F. Gibson Enrolled into the Texas State unit on June 12, 1861 in McKinney, Collin County Texas by Captain J. M. Bounds. His age was 24 years. He was reported AWOL on August 27, 1861.

William A. Green(e) Middle initial also listed as L. Enlisted in CSA on January 22, 1862 at Weston, Collin County, Texas by Captain J. M. Bounds. Was 24 years of age at the time of his enlistment. Reported as captured at the battle of Murfreesboro on December 31, 1862. Still reported as Missing on the April 30, 1863 Muster Roll. Remarks on the December 31, 1863 Muster Roll read: "Died at Atlanta, Georgia." Confederate records say see Manuscript 1628 for burial, dated August 31, 1863.

Federal records show him as captured at Murfreesboro on December 31, 1862 and was sent to Camp Douglas, Illinois until at least March 31, 1863. Residence given as Fannin County, Texas.

W. J. Green Only record is that of surrender with Company "G" under Lieutenant A. C. Bailey at Citronelle, Alabama on May 4, 1865 and paroled later in May at Columbus, Mississippi according to the terms agreed upon by Lieutenant General Richard Taylor, C.S.A. and Major General E. R. S. Canby, U.S.A.. This record is with those of William A. Green(e).

William H. Halcum Enlisted in the Company and mustered into Confederate States Service on October 2, 1861 at Camp Reeves, Texas. Was present for duty until killed in the battle in front of Murfreesboro on December 31, 1862. He is one of six from the 11th Texas Cavalry who have recently been identified as being buried there by the Sons of Confederate Veterans, Murfreesboro Camp #1355. He is buried in the Confederate Circle of Heros in Evergreen Cemetery at Murfreesboro with over 2000 Confederates. The bodies moved from what was called the Old Confederate Cemetery to Evergreen Cemetery in 1867 (Murfreesboro Monitor, 12/7/1867). On January 28, 1882 the Nashville Banner a list of men whose names appeared on wooden markers in the Confederate Circle. W. Halcum, 11th Texas was among those names published.

M. M. Harkins Enlisted in the Company and mustered into Confederate States Service on October 2, 1861 at Camp Reeves, Texas. Present in 1861 and for the 1861 Confederate Muster Roll only. No further records.

H. H. Harless Enrolled into the Texas State unit on June 12, 1861 in McKinney, Collin County Texas by Captain J. M. Bounds. His age was 18 years. He was discharged at Fort Arbuckle, I. T. on July 1, 1861.

Thomas O. Harris Enlisted in the Company and mustered into Confederate States Service on October 2, 1861 at Camp Reeves, Texas. Present until AWOL from February 16, 1864 is noted on the final Muster Roll.

A Federal POW roll states that he was captured on March 8, 1864 and in the was in the charge of the Provost Marshal at New Market, Tennessee. The Provost Marshal's records state that Harris deserted the Rebel Army to go North. He was sent to Knoxville on March 9, 1864 and was received on March 11, 1864. Harris took an oath of allegiance and was released on March 12, 1864.

E. Haston Enrolled into the Texas State unit on June 12, 1861 in McKinney, Collin County Texas by Captain J. M. Bounds. His age was 26 years. He was reported AWOL on August 27, 1861.

H. H. Havens Enrolled into the Texas State unit on June 12, 1861 in McKinney, Collin County Texas by Captain J. M. Bounds. His age was 24 years. He was reported AWOL on August 27, 1861.

W. T. Havens Enrolled into the Texas State unit on June 12, 1861 in McKinney, Collin County Texas by Captain J. M. Bounds. His age was 18 years. He was reported AWOL on August 27, 1861.

L. A. Hearn Enlisted in 11th Texas Cavalry on January 22, 1862 at Weston, Collin County, Texas by Captain J. M. Bounds. Listed as absent, sick in Kentucky from October 5, 1862 on the 1862 Muster Roll. Name appears on a Federal Register of POW's with no other information. The April 30, 1863 Confederate Muster Roll states that Hearn was AWOL from November of 1862 from Exchange Camp, deserted. No further records.

James Helms Enlisted in the Company and mustered into Confederate States Service on October 2, 1861 at Camp Reeves, Texas. Discharged on March 26, 1863 and paid by T. W. Randolph, A.Q.M. on the same date.

J. S. Helms Enlisted in the Company and mustered into Confederate States Service on October 2, 1861 at Camp Reeves, Texas. Captured during the battle of Murfreesboro on December 31, 1862 and listed as missing in action on the 1862 and April 30, 1863 Muster Rolls. The casualty list for the battle lists private John Helms - wounded. No further records.

Jackson Henderson Enlisted in the Company and mustered into Confederate States Service on October 2, 1861 at Camp Reeves, Texas. Discharged June 13, 1862. Final settlement given on June 23, 1862.

William Henderson No Confederate muster roll records on file. Federal POW records state that he was captured at Kingston, Georgia on August 30, 1864. Some of the Regiment was in East Tennessee at the time. He was sent to Nashville and Military Prison, Louisville where he was received on October 28, 1864. Soon after he was sent to Camp Douglas, Illinois and received there on November 1, 1864. In January of 1865 private William Henderson applied for an oath of allegiance. The application states that he "Claims to have been loyal. Enlisted to avoid Conscription. Was captured and deserted to take the oath of allegiance to the U.S.A. and become a loyal citizen." His residence was given as Hope County, Georgia. He was discharged from Camp Douglas on May 16, 1865.

J. M. Henry Enrolled into the Texas State unit on June 12, 1861 in McKinney, Collin County Texas by Captain J. M. Bounds. His age was 18 years. He was reported AWOL on August 27, 1861.

James Hernin Enrolled into the Texas State unit on June 12, 1861 in McKinney, Collin County Texas by Captain J. M. Bounds. His age was 21 years. He was discharge on July 10, 1861 at Fort Washita, Indian Territories.

C. Hoff Enrolled into the Texas State unit on June 12, 1861 in McKinney, Collin County Texas by Captain J. M. Bounds. His age was 19 years. He was reported AWOL on August 27, 1861.

B. T. Jackson Enlisted in the Company and mustered into Confederate States Service on October 2, 1861 at Camp Reeves, Texas. The 1862 Muster Roll shows him absent at Tunnel Hill, Georgia from December 8, 1862. He was present, performing work as Regimental Teamster from March 12th through April 30th of 1863. He was absent and detailed to make saddles at Rome, Georgia for the last two muster rolls. No further records.

Joel Jackson Enlisted in the Company and mustered into Confederate States Service on October 2, 1861 at Camp Reeves, Texas. Present for the 1861 Confederate Muster Roll only. No further records on file.

M. M. Jackson Enrolled into the Texas State unit on June 12, 1861 in McKinney, Collin County Texas by Captain J. M. Bounds. His age was 20 years.

Remarks on the 1861 Confederate Muster Roll state that he enrolled and acted with the company prior to and since October 2nd. He is listed as absent on detached service from November 16, 1862 on the 1862 Muster Roll. Present with the company for the April 30, 1863 Muster Roll. The last two muster rolls state that he was detailed to make saddles at Rome, Georgia. He received payments for extra work from July 1st to December 31st of 1863. The files contain a neatly hand written letter as follows:

I certify that the above Requisition is correct and that the articles specified are necessary for the public service rendered so by the following circumstances. That the men are on detached service making saddles for the Government and some being sick the bacon is actually necessary.

A. L. Jones Enrolled into the Texas State unit on June 12, 1861 in McKinney, Collin County Texas by Captain J. M. Bounds. His age was 19 years. He was reported AWOL on August 27, 1861.

B. D. Jones There was a B. D. Jones who was formerly a member of Captain W. A. Brown’s Company of Cavalry at Weston, Collin County, Texas. That unit was also part of the 15th Brigade of Texas Militia in 1861.

A B. D. Jones also enlisted in CSA on January 22, 1862 at Weston, Collin County, Texas by Captain J. M. Bounds. Age was 17 years upon enlistment. Discharged on June 20, 1862. Final settlement given on June 23, 1862.

William Jones Enlisted in the Company and mustered into Confederate States Service on October 2, 1861 at Camp Reeves, Texas. Discharged March 20, 1863. Paid on the same day by T. W. Randolph. No Certificate of discharge is on file.

Elias A. Joslin Enlisted in the Company and mustered into Confederate States Service on October 2, 1861 at Camp Reeves, Texas. Absent on detached service from December 30, 1861 for the 1861 Muster Roll. Present for duty until reported as captured near Manchester, Tennessee on June 28, 1863.

Federal POW records state that he was captured on June 27th. He was forwarded to Nashville on June 30th and then forwarded to Military Prison, Louisville on July 3rd. On July 7, 1863 Joslin was received at Camp Chase, Ohio. He departed there on July 10, 1863, with remarks on his records: "Released by order of Commissary General of Prisoners." No further records.

He mustered into Confederate States Service with this unit on October 2, 1861 at Camp Reeves, Texas. Present for duty until capture on January 28, 1864 near Sevierville, Tennessee.

Union soldiers sent Metcalf to Rock Island Barracks in Illinois via prisons at Knoxville, Nashville and Louisville. He was received there on February 18, 1864. Took oath of allegiance at Rock Island Barracks on June 17, 1865. Gave age as 20 years and residence as Collin County. He would have only been 16 years old at the beginning of his service.

J. M. Milliron Enrolled into the Texas State unit on June 12, 1861 in McKinney, Collin County Texas by Captain J. M. Bounds. His age was 21 years. He was reported AWOL on August 27, 1861.

A. E. Mills Enrolled into the Texas State unit on June 12, 1861 in McKinney, Collin County Texas by Captain J. M. Bounds. His age was 33 years. He was reported AWOL on August 27, 1861.

C. W. Moore Enrolled into the Texas State unit on June 12, 1861 in McKinney, Collin County Texas by Captain J. M. Bounds. His age was 19 years. He was reported AWOL on August 27, 1861.

George W. Moudy Enlisted in the Company and mustered into Confederate States Service on October 2, 1861 at Camp Reeves, Texas. Last name also written as Mouday and Mowdy. Wounded at College Grove, Tennessee on March 19, 1863. Listed as absent from that date, through the time of the final Muster Roll. Was working extra duty as a Nurse from September 1 to October 31, 1863. He received clothing at Bragg Hospital in Newman, Georgia December 7, 1863 and was still there on January 1, 1864. He was listed as captured April 30, 1865 at Macon, Georgia by the 1st Brigade, 2nd Cavalry Division, U.S.A. May have escaped, since he is also reported as surrendered at Macon on May 15, 1865. Subscribed to oath at Nashville on May 22, 1865 and gave residence as Denton County, Texas.

Jeremiah H. Mulinix Enlisted in the Company and mustered into Confederate States Service on October 2, 1861 at Camp Reeves, Texas. Last name also reported as Mullineaux and Mulinaux. Present for duty until AWOL from February 26 to at least 29, 1864. Evidently returned to duty after the final Muster Roll. He was captured January 14, 1865 near Murphy, North Carolina (one record says captured in Sevier County, Tennessee).

Federal prison records at Nashville indicate captured near Murphy, North Carolina. Prison records at Louisville and then Camp Chase indicate capture near Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He was evidently exchanged.

Private Mulinix's name appears on a Register at Jackson Hospital (Confederate) in Richmond, Virginia with "debilitas", admitted March 8, 1865. He was furloughed for 30 days on March 13, 1865. No further records.

D. Nevels No enlistment or muster roll records on file. Surrendered at Citronelle, Alabama with Company "G" commanded by Lieutenant A. C. Bailey on May 4, 1865. Paroled at Columbus, Mississippi. Gave residence as Hill County, Texas.

A.L. Poe There was an A. L. Poe who was formerly a member of Captain W. A. Brown’s Company of Cavalry at Weston, Collin County, Texas. That unit was also part of the 15th Brigade of Texas Militia in 1861.

An A. L. Poe also enlisted in the Confederate service on January 22, 1862 at Weston, Collin County, Texas by Captain J. M. Bounds. Age 20 upon enlistment. Remarks on the 1862 Muster Roll show he died at hospital on December 12, 1862.

J. W. H. Potts There was a J. W. Pots who was formerly a member of Captain W. A. Brown’s Company of Cavalry at Weston, Collin County, Texas. That unit was also part of the 15th Brigade of Texas Militia in 1861.

This J. W. H. Potts enlisted in the Confederate service on January 22, 1862 at Weston, Collin County, Texas by Captain J. M. Bounds. Age 17 upon enlistment and came with own horse and equipment valued at $120 and $20, respectively. No further records on file.

S. Powell Enlisted in the Company and mustered into Confederate States Service on October 2, 1861 at Camp Reeves, Texas. On detached service as horse farrier and detailed to guard government horses in 1863. Present for duty on final Muster Roll. Occupation given as "V. [Vetenary?] Surgeon". No further records.

Given Certificate of Disability for Discharge which indicated he was born in Alabama, aged 26 years and a Farmer by occupation. The discharge was given at Camp Priceville, Mississippi and was signed by 1st Lieutenant J. E. S. Russell.

Federal records state that private J. Routh was a Deserter, captured on March 8, 1864 at New Market, Tennessee and sent to Knoxville on that date. A note reads: "Deserted Rebel Army to go North." Took oath at Knoxville on March 12, 1864. Released on oath. No further records.

William H. Ramsour Last name also listed as Rumsours, Romsowers and Rumus. Enlisted January 22, 1862 by Captain J. M. Bounds at Weston, Collin County, Texas. Age 24 upon enlistment. On Detached service as Regimental Blacksmith (F&S) from January 1863 through the final Muster Roll. No further records.

H. Salling Enrolled into the Texas State unit on June 12, 1861 in McKinney, Collin County Texas by Captain J. M. Bounds. His age was 19 years. He was reported AWOL on August 27, 1861.

Jacob Schiikle Enrolled into the Texas State unit on June 12, 1861 in McKinney, Collin County Texas by Captain J. M. Bounds. His age was 35 years. He was reported AWOL on August 27, 1861. The last name appears to be Schiihle on the first State Muster Roll.

Wilson J. Skaggs Enlisted in the Company and mustered into Confederate States Service on October 2, 1861 at Camp Reeves, Texas. The 1862 Muster Roll remarks state that he was on Detached Service from November 16, 1862. Present with company from at least April 30, 1863 through the final Muster Roll.

Federal records state that his name appears on a roll of Deserters from the Rebel Army received July 16, 1864. Took oaths in Chattanooga on July 14, 1863 and in Louisville on July 18, 1864. Discharged under oath to remain north of the Ohio River during the War. Gave residence as Collin County, Texas. Sent north and released. Remarks on Federal records read: "Vol."

A Register of payments to discharged soldiers shows him discharged and paid by T. W. Randolph on June 13, 1862. A Remark on the 1862 Muster Roll states he was discharged and final settlement given on June 23, 1862.

J. E. Templeton Enlisted in the Company and mustered into Confederate States Service on October 2, 1861 at Camp Reeves, Texas. Attached to Arsenal Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas on May 1, 1862 as Cook. Taken sick and transferred on May 14, 1862. Attached to St. Johns College Hospital in Little Rock on June 8, 1862. No further records.

J. H. Thompson Enlisted with the 11th Texas Cavalry on April 10, 1862 at Desarc, Arkansas by Lieutenant Colonel J. J. Diamond. Went AWOL on October 12, 1862. No further records.

Name appears on a report of Prisoners of War paroled at Memphis, Tennessee in the five days ending May 25, 1865.

J. C. I. Wasson Enrolled into the Texas State unit on June 12, 1861 in McKinney, Collin County Texas by Captain J. M. Bounds. His age was 17 years. He was reported AWOL on August 27, 1861.

William Watson Enlisted in the Company and mustered into Confederate States Service on October 2, 1861 at Camp Reeves, Texas. Went AWOL from October 4, 1862 to at least January of 1863. Present on April 30, 1863 Muster Roll. The Muster Roll ending December 31, 1863 has remarks: "Deserted about the 10 of Aug. 1863." Not shown present for the final Muster Roll either. He must have returned since his name appears on a Roll of Prisoners of War from Company "G", 11th Regiment Texas Volunteer Cavalry, C.S.A., commanded by Lieutenant A. C. Bailey, surrendered at Citronelle, Alabama by Lieutenant General Richard Taylor on May 4, 1865. Paroled at Columbus, Mississippi later in May. No exact date given.

A. C. Weeks Enlisted in the Confederate service on January 22, 1862 by Captain J. M. Bounds at Weston, Collin County, Texas. Absent, sick, from December 8, 1862 into, at least, January of 1863. Present by April 30, 1863 and through final Muster Roll. No further records.

Amos Welker Enlisted in the Company and mustered into Confederate States Service on October 2, 1861 at Camp Reeves, Texas. Present until on last two muster rolls he is reported as detailed or detached at Knoxville, Tennessee. The author thought Knoxville was under occupation by the Federals at that time, so this must mean: in the vicinity of Knoxville. He was surrendered and paroled with private William Watson.

I. Wells No muster roll records on file. Sergeant J. B. Wells' file contains a Roll of Prisoners of War of Furloughed and Detailed men, C.S.A., surrendered at New Orleans by General E. Kirby Smith on May 25, 1865 and paroled at Shreveport, Louisiana on June 21, 1865. This Roll, however, contains a name appearing as private I. Wells, Co. “G” 11th Regiment Texas Cavalry. Private I. Wells gave his residence as Glasgow, Kentucky. Recall that J. B. Wells gave residence as Collin County, Texas upon his surrender at Citronelle, Alabama on May 4, 1865. Therefore, I. Wells appears to be another soldier.

Sam Wharton Enrolled into the Texas State unit on June 12, 1861 in McKinney, Collin County Texas by Captain J. M. Bounds. His age was 20 years. He was reported AWOL on August 27, 1861.

Federal records state that he was captured on January 12, 1864 at Talbot's Station, Tennessee. He was forwarded "for exchange" to Louisville Military Prison via Chattanooga and Nashville. Then sent to Rock Island Barracks and received there on January 29, 1864. Signed oath of allegiance there on February 20, 1865. No release date given. Gave residence as Breckenridge County, Missouri and age as 23.

P. K. Wilson Enlisted in the Confederate service on January 22, 1862 at Weston, Collin County, Texas by Captain J. M. Bounds. A Register of Payments shows him discharged and paid by T. W. Randolph on June 13, 1862. The 1862 Muster Roll Remarks show him Discharged June 23, 1862.

W. T. Wilson There was a W. Willson listed as part of Captain W. A. Brown’s Company of Cavalry at Weston, Collin County, Texas. That unit was also part of the 15th Brigade of Texas Militia in 1861.

This W. T. Wilson enlisted in the Confederate service on January 22, 1862 at Weston, Collin County, Texas by Captain J. M. Bounds. Reported as captured at the battle of Murfreesboro on December 31, 1862. Still reported as missing in action on April 30, 1863 Muster Roll. No more muster roll records are filed.

He surrendered with Company "G", under the command of Lieutenant A. C. Bailey at Citronelle, Alabama on May 4, 1865. Paroled at Columbus, Mississippi later in May of 1865.
